課程概述 |
The goal of this course is to develop students’ English teaching skills and to prepare students for actual teaching at secondary schools. Students will observe, explore, and implement effective teaching ideas and apply their knowledge and skills of English learning and teaching in the process. The major activities of the first semester include video-watching, school visits, in-class micro-teaching and an individual teaching project. Students will learn to write and implement lesson plans, to evaluate other’s and their own teaching, and to initiate and sustain interaction in the classroom. In the second semester, students will be placed at a secondary school with a supervising practitioner. -- |
